Preschool

Our Preschool program is designed for children three to five-years of age. The Preschool child has an unquenchable thirst for learning, for exploring their world, for learning about boundaries and independence. Our Preschool educators work to foster a learning environment in which your preschooler learns by doing. Our curriculum provides the basis for your child’s future elementary school experience by introducing the foundational building blocks for lifelong learning.

Our curriculum has been developed to encourage a love of reading, the written word, and language. Your child will listen to stories to expand vocabulary, and participate in learning activities that encourage letter recognition and writing; learn to count and recognize numerals laying the foundation for future math lessons while science activities encourage your child to observe and learn from the world around him.

The inclusion of Art and Music in our curriculum fine tunes your child’s ability to listen, move, explore, play and learn. Art activities improve the development of fine motor skills while movement to Music improves gross motor skills and has been proven to increase concentration as well as math skills.

Our Preschool educators guide your child’s understanding of the Golden Rule: to be kind to one another, help a friend when needed, share with everyone, and be responsible for your actions. Preparation for your child’s elementary experience is a top priority of our Preschool program along with providing essential social skills needed to be a successful future student.
