Our Philosophy
As educators, our philosophy has remained constant throughout the two decades we have served our community. We believe each child is a unique individual who has the right to quality care in a safe and nurturing environment with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that stimulates social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.
Our Mission
We support the Christian family structure by caring for each child in a way that supports the bond already established between parent (caregiver) and child.
We demonstrate Christian love to each child in our care by sharing and teaching the values and principles of Jesus Christ by demonstrating appropriate behavior towards others, celebration of holidays, and prayers at mealtime. Although we are a Christian program, we seek to create a setting where all families, regardless of religious background, feel welcome and accepted. Each family brings its own values, beliefs, and traditions to our program, and the program is enhanced by this diversity.
We are trained professionals committed to providing each child with quality, affordable and developmentally appropriate child care.
We provide a well-rounded curriculum with age-appropriate expectations based on our knowledge of development and stages of growth. We know that each child develops at a different pace, so we individualize our care.
We prepare each child socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively for entry into kindergarten and future school programs. A child does not need to be “ready” for us. We are “ready” for the child.
Accreditation
Quality child care has a direct impact on a child’s ability to build healthy relationships, learn through cooperative play activities, and increases their understanding of how they can grow to becoming the best person they can be. We have received Tennessee’s Highest Rating for Quality Care of 3 Quality STARS. We are always striving to exceed state standards by setting higher expectations for ourselves day to day every year.
